Modern After-Sales System: Updating Legacy Tool for Better User Experience

Overview
Acrontum modernized the after-sales system of a major German automotive manufacturer and successfully migrated it to a scalable, cloud-native platform on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The original system had become fragmented and difficult to maintain due to years of expansions. As part of the modernization, key AWS services such as Amazon EKS, AWS Lambda, and Amazon RDS were used to transform the legacy architecture into a modular, high-performance environment.
Acrontum’s new solution integrated all systems, improved the user interface, and provided better data access. This simplified processes in the service centers, offered improved insights into parts sales and customer interactions, and ensured compliance with GDPR.

The new solution integrates previously isolated systems using Amazon API Gateway, significantly improving process automation and data flows between components. A user-friendly interface, delivered via a web application hosted on Amazon S3 and distributed globally through Amazon CloudFront, makes day-to-day work in service centers easier and improves access to spare parts and customer interaction data. In addition, insights from user and sales data drive continuous improvement of the experience.
